And Cry. And Cry.

I could stop
this motorcycle right now.
And cry.
And cry.

Until I saw
a man, a young man perhaps,
carrying a burden in his right shoulder,
perhaps heavier than that of mine.

Until I saw
a lady,
an old lady
walking at the side of the road,
a poor woman maybe,
I don’t quite remember…

Until I saw
everything else
other figures
I forgot …
which I should have written
in the first place as I saw them, or sensed something
because that’s what a poem means.

That’s when I contemplated
about what has been going on in my life.
In the street.
What's the point of all this…? I would think, I would say.

That’s when I felt like
I could stop
this motorcycle right now.
And cry.
And cry.
